The Power of Natural Hair

I thoroughly enjoyed this Spartan Dialogue where we shared our experiences as black women who have Black hair in a world where all other textures are contrary but curious about what we have going on top of our heads. We created a space where we could talk about the real issues of natural hair such has hair discrimination in the workplace, black hair representation and curl patterns. Nonetheless, we also celebrated the beauty and diversity that is rooted in Black hair. In this world, we have to embrace what makes us different, because the world is constantly trying to contain the power we possess. Our hair is our Anti-colonolistic movement against the bias standards of beuaty.
